Our friends Mr and Mrs Aruna have been conducting a music prog every year to raise big funds for us.

Another friend Mrs Meenakshi participated in the Mumbai Marthon this year where she campaigned for us and collected contributions

Mr. V. Mahesh and Mrs. Aruna, friends of CRRT, had once again organised a musical program, RV Musical Nite-2, on the 21st of June 2014 at Chettinad Auditorium. It was a memorable music performance painstakingly put up by extraordinarily talented teenagers,.to raise funds for the Trust
This music troupe of 30, had the audience enthralled for more than 2 hours with music of all genres - Classical both Indian & Western, Fusion and film music. 


Survivor on the road to conquer Cancer

Mr. M. Suresh more popularly known as OncoSuresh, a cancer survivor, who prefers to be called Cancer Warrior did a `Campaign on the road' to raise funds for organisations involved in treatment of cancer.
The strenuous and physically-draining 7 hours and 45 minutes journey, covering a distance of 40 kms from Maduraivoyil to Tambaram and back was done by OncoSuresh mostly on foot and briefly on his bicycle.

`Cricket For a Cause'

An Inter School Under 14 Tournament, sponsored by AGS Health Care and organized by K Sriram was held from 18th to 24th July 2013.
This fundraiser cum Cancer awareness event was the result of the tireless efforts of Mr. Sriram Krishnamurthy, Multicultural Cricket Ambassador, South Australian Cricket Association and Coach at Adelaide Cricket Club. This tournament witnessed the participation of 12 city schools with each team being allotted 2 matches.
During short intervals between matches, our Psycho-oncology team conducted brief sessions with the young cricketers and educated them on cancer and the ill-effects of tobacco use.
St. Patrick’s Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School won the final match against Santhome Higher Secondary School.


RV Musical Nite.
Mr. V. Mahesh had organised a musical program in memory of his parents, Sri Venkateswaran and Smt Rajeswari, on the 10th of May 2013 at Sivagami Pethachi Auditorium. This memorable music performance, painstakingly put up by amateur but extraordinarily talented students of P.S.S.School, Mylapore, had the audience enchanted for close to three hours. This event fondly organised by Mr, Mahesh and under the able guidance of Mrs. Aruna Mahesh was in aid of our Trust and Cancare Foundation.

SHAN POORNAM
, a leading corporate house in Malaysia and a regular donor of our Trust, hosted the doctors of CRRT at its Customer Appreciation Dinner at Penang, Malaysia on the 9th of March 2012. The company has promised to support the treatment of 5 patients every year.

Famous celebrity carnatic vocalist Sikkil Gurucharan and renowned musician Anil Srinivasan gave a special performance in aid of CRRT, during the music release of their album 'The Blue Divine'. The programme was held at Taj Connemara on 17th October 2008. 

'SATRANGI' a well known music troupe in Chennai, conducted a show, `70's KE SITAARE ', in aid of CRRT in May 2008
